FilePane

FilePane can make various file-related operations quicker and easier. It enables you to move files, compress them, share, convert or edit them on the fly. The application's smart functionality can increase your productivity significantly, especially if you have to work with the same folders and carry out the same tasks on a regular basis. Instead of browsing through thick layers of folders, open web pages and look for all sorts of options, you can do everything at a moment's notice, directly on your desktop.

The application is triggered either by a hotkey or by clicking and dragging files and folders. While "holding" a file or a folder, a small floating box will show up, on which you can drop the data to bring up a series of quick options. You may find different options, depending on what type of file you target. You will also find common options, for sending the data to a certain folder on the hard drive, zip it, attach it to an email and others.

FilePane is capable of performing a wide range of operations. You will discover this as you work with different file types. For example, if you drop a picture on the application's floating window, you will be able to convert and resize it, set it as the desktop's wallpaper, upload the image on Facebook, Twitter or other social networks or bring up a few basic editing options, for cropping, rotating and so on.

It is also possible to handle multiple files in one run, even if they are in completely different formats. You can drag and drop several files and folders on the floating box, to find options for storing them in a new folder, zipping them and more.
